About Us
A word from our President, Lauren:
Pawsitive Rescue Division, is a dream my ten year old self dreamt up and has far surpassed what I ever could have imagined. It started in high school with FFA rescuing dogs, volunteering at the ASPCA, working at dog kennels and training facilities to later becoming a veterinary technician.
Fast forward fifteen years, a move from Connecticut to Tennessee and a little, brindle wiggle butt, running across the road, just two days after moving, nearly getting hit by a car resulted in Pawsitive Rescue Division.
PRD is the sister nonprofit to my dog training, pet sitting, and boarding company, which is how I met both Brynn and Lexi. Brynn brings her veterinary skills and Lexi brings her patience and organization to the board. Vin saved the day very early on, when our vet bills were more than I could manage and he made it clear that every dog was worth the price. Ella joined the board very organically.
Talking about past traumas and the power dogs have over healing, I instantly knew she was the missing link to complete our team. There will never be the right words to express how much it truly means to me with how far we have come, to make a dream come true. Together, through countless hours, miles, passion, love, blood, sweat and tears, we did it. Welcome to Pawsitive Rescue Division!
Our Mission
Pawsitive Rescue Division promotes a streamlined process for each pup from rescue to their fur-ever home. This process highlights rehabilitation, training and concentrated care for each rescued dog and their new owners.
We believe in kindness and education for each dog’s needs and putting the best paw forward through the adoption process.
